Bringing interested parties together to provide a coordinated approach in the prevention of family violence.
The primary purpose of the Greater Bendigo Against Family Violence Committee is to bring interested parties together to provide a coordinated approach in the prevention of family violence, violence against women and all forms of gender-based violence in Greater Bendigo.
The United Nation’s international campaign 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, takes place each year from 25 November (International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women) until 10 December (International Human Rights Day). Each year the Greater Bendigo Against Family Violence release a 16 Days calendar of events for the Greater Bendigo region.
