We provide facilities and skill development in gemstone and rock cutting, faceting, identification, silversmithing, lost wax casting and fossicking.
About Us
Learn new skills and make new friends in a club environment. Membership includes unlimited use of the silver and lapidary workshops, field trips and fossicking adventures in the outback, social events and sales opportunities. Our workshops have specialised equipment which is permanently set up ready for use.

Pop in during opening hours to chat with members about how to start your lapidary and silversmithing hobby.
Workshops are open:
- Tuesdays 5.00pm -8.30pm
- Thursdays 10.00am -4.00pm
- every second and fourth Saturday of the month 10.00am - 2.00pm
Operating costs and memberships are subsidised by the annual fundraiser, The Bendigo Gem Expo which hosts over 20 traders, club stalls, demonstrations, and children’s activities.
Children may join as part of a family membership. As it is a workshop environment, children must be 14 and supervised at all times by their parent/guardian.
