Bendigo Gliding Club

The Club provides a full range of gliding activity from ab-initio training to cross country racing. Operations are on weekends and public holidays plus special camps between Christmas and New Year.

It has an excellent fleet of fibre glass gliders for hire by members and  a 'Eurofox' tow plane to  provide launches. There are also 25 other gliders owned by members.
The Club formed in 1979 and operated for 12 years at Woodvale. In 1991, with growth of membership, the Club made the decision to purchase land East of Raywood to provide a dedicated gliding site. In 2021 additional land was acquired for an East/West runway.

Members are drawn from a wide region, including Bendigo, metro-Melbourne, Daylesford, Echuca and Shepparton. They are attracted by great facilities and excellent gliding conditions in Central Victoria.
