The Bendigo Agricultural Show Society was founded in 1859 and has conducted an annual spring show every year since then (excepting during World War 2 and Covid-19). The Agricultural Show Society is proud of its history and has been a major player in the community providing facilities for user groups within the Bendigo region and hosting National events.
The Bendigo Agricultural Show Society Inc is a volunteer association which is the State appointed Manager of the Prince of Wales Showgrounds, Bendigo.
The Show Society operates the weekly Sunday Market, Annual Agricultural Show and Australasian Dorset Championships.
Many events are held in the Bendigo Exhibition Centre, Regional Events Complex and associated buildings as well as the Show Arena, which is the largest arena in Regional Victoria.
