Marong Neighbourhood House

The Marong Neighbourhood House is a non-profit organisation. We provide a place for the community to gather for meetings, run activities, borrow from the free Library and provide information and resources. There is a story for each of our activity groups and how they benefit the members who attend them.

The Marong Neighbourhood House makes a unique contribution to the local community.  We strive to have a positive impact on the Health and Wellbeing of the community, we focus on community development and social inclusion. We believe we can help make the town flourish with its ever-increasing population.

Marong Neighbourhood House provide opportunities for participation, barriers to accessibility and participation are overcome by ensuring appropriate physical access and offering affordable programs and activities.

Marong Neighbourhood House takes pride in our recycling program. We are now accepting all small e-waste items, including batteries, mobile phones and printer cartridges in our bid to keep these recyclable items out of landfill, reducing the risk of contaminating the environment. We are a collection point for soft plastic recycling, Lids For Kids, blister packs and bread ties, all of which are very well supported. 

The Marong Neighbourhood House facilitates the Marong Township Garage Sale Day held annually in September.
