About Us
We are a four part community choir founded in 1957 as the Benola Singers. Currently we have 35 members and we perform a wide range of music from different periods and sources with an emphasis on classical music. Our musical director is a talented and enthusiastic leader with expertise in all aspects of singing and musical performance. The choir rehearses in central Bendigo once a week on a Wednesday evening ( 7:30 - 9:30pm ) and we put on several concerts a year mostly in Bendigo. We welcome singers of all voice types and abilities. Reading music is not is not a required skill but is very helpful.
