About Event

Come and join us on a nocturnal wildlife wander at Crusoe Reservoir. Learn about the ecology and calls of some of the local nighttime creatures. We will use spotlights and a thermal camera to detect and view animals that emerge once the sun goes down - possums, gliders, antechinus, insects and owls!

We will go on a gentle wander on easy tracks around Crusoe Reservoir, starting from the car park near the dam wall. There will be plenty of opportunity to ask the local Rangers and Biodiversity team lots of questions.

This event is suitable for all ages. Kids encouraged.

Meeting point: Crusoe Reservoir carpark, off Crusoe Road, Kangaroo Flat.

What to bring: Wear warm, weather-appropriate clothing and enclosed footwear. Bring a torch or headtorch as well as binoculars if you have them.
