INVEST in her future
Join WIRE and the City of Greater Bendigo Council for an expert panel on promoting economic security and equity for women. The discussion will cover taking control of finances, generating secure income, and accessing resources like training and education. This event aims to empower women to achieve economic independence.
The panel will discuss the various ways that we can Invest in Women’s future; How can women take the control of money and finance back? How to generate secure income stream? Where to access economic resources such as training and education or exploring business ideas? By strengthening knowledge in these areas, we are empowering women to dream big and achieve economic independence!
This event is suitable for all women and gender-diverse people, as well as general community members, including communities from various cultural backgrounds. The event will be offered in person at the Bendigo City Library and will be livestreamed online via zoom. For those who can attend in person, a light refreshment will be provided.

The Future is in Our Hands Art Exhibition
The Future is in Our Hands is a community-driven art exhibition supporting the 16 Days of Activism at Pennyweight Outdoor Story Gallery, supporting the 16 Days of Activism to raise awareness about gender-based violence. It features quotes from male community leaders reflecting on respect and the role men play in eliminating gender-based violence.
