Bendigo Suicide Prevention Awareness Network Walk
The Bendigo Suicide Prevention Awareness Network walk on Sunday, March 16 allows people touched by suicide, and those who want to show their support for them, to remember loved ones, friends, work and school mates and to generate more public awareness of the issue of suicide in Bendigo and Central Victorian communities

Time: Gather from 10.45am (Welcoming ceremony at 10.50am)
Location: Dai Gum San Chinese Precinct
Join us once again for the SPAN Suicide Prevention Awareness Walk. This event offers a safe environment where community members can connect, share their experiences, and raise awareness of suicide in our region.
Event Details:
🦋 10.45am - Arrive
🦋 10.50am - Welcoming ceremony
🦋 11.00am - Start the awareness walk along a peaceful two-kilometre route
🦋 11.45am - Butterfly Remembrance Ceremony, a moment to honour and remember
🦋 12pm - Free sausage sizzle and community bonding
Guest Speaker: Luke Baker, local Lifeline and Lived Experience Ambassador, will be sharing his story of hope, resilience, and discovery. His transformative 3249 km ride across Australia raised crucial funds and awareness for Lifeline Loddon Mallee.

Support teams from Headspace, Bendigo Community Health Services, and Lifeline will be on hand for those needing to talk.
