Come and join us on a nocturnal wildlife wander along the O'Keefe Rail Trail to look for Bendigo's creatures of the night!
Learn about the ecology and calls of some of the local nighttime animals. We will use spotlights and a thermal camera to detect and view animals that emerge once the sun goes down - possums, gliders, antechinus, insects and owls!
This event is suitable for all ages. Kids encouraged.
Meeting point: O'Keefe Rail Trail at Wilkie Road, between McIvor Hwy and Trotting Terrace. Parking is available next to the trail.
What to bring: Wear enclosed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. Bring a torch or head torch, and binoculars if you have them.
