Accommodation

Simpkin House accommodates 40 single bed rooms with ensuites.

This is a secure environment and caters for residents requiring specialised behavioural management. Reverse cycle air conditioning to all bedrooms and common areas.

Environment

The home has four wings each accommodating 10 residents. All bedrooms have large windows with garden views. There are large outside areas with winding paths and some key features to support the residents including a farm feature area, car, bus stop and a men’s shed.

The home strives to a high standard of quality individualised care to meet your specialised needs and employs highly skilled qualified staff.

A professional team of specialised staff, including registered nurses, enrolled nurses, physiotherapists, podiatrists, dieticians, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, diabetes management and palliative care are an integral part of the care team and assist in planning your care outcomes.

Lifestyle program

Extensive programs cater for the needs and interests of residents. We aim to make our lifestyle programs enjoyable, mentally stimulating, whilst meeting cultural, spiritual and specialised needs. The home has a bus that helps maintain access to the community for shopping trips and community outings.

Fresh meals are prepared daily in consultation with our dietitians. Our professional hospitality team prepares well balanced, healthy and appetising meals. Special dietary needs are easily accommodated.
