We love Australian plants in the garden and the bush. We meet for workshops, bush and garden tours, and to learn from fantastic guest speakers.
Benefits of APS Vic – Bendigo membership.
Meet lots of friendly people interested in native plants. You do not need to have a totally native garden (or even a garden at all) to join our group.
Learn to identify, propagate and grow native plants including indigenous (local to our region) plants.
Share gardening tips, cuttings and seeds.
Be inspired by our monthly guest speaker on native plant related topics, but some meetings take the form of group discussions and activities. We also hold occasional excursions to local native gardens, and to bushland areas of the Bendigo region.
Receive our monthly newsletter, which will inform you of coming programs and other local activities, and has articles by members. The emailed newsletter is in colour.
Become involved in hands on conservation work with occasional community planting or weeding days.
