Join us for the opening of Amegilla Neurodivergent Community Hub! We will be showcasing our dreams and goals for the Hub and the ND school.
Amegilla College is excited to announce the opening of the Amegilla Neurodivergent Hub, a new community resource designed to support and empower individuals within the neurodivergent community across the Bendigo region. The public is invited to attend an Open Day on Saturday, March 1st, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Old Primary School, located at 20 Longlea Lane, Longlea.
The Amegilla ND Community Hub is dedicated to creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space for neurodivergent individuals to connect, share experiences, and engage with others in a supportive environment. This initiative is designed to foster a sense of belonging and offer various resources and activities tailored to the needs of neurodivergent people and their families.
Lisa Chesters, Federal Member for Bendigo, will be in attendance to formally support the hub’s opening.
The Open Day event will offer:
“We’re excited to open our doors to the community and begin building meaningful connections,” said Wendy O’Flynn, the president of the Board at Amegilla.
“The Amegilla ND Community Hub will be a place where neurodivergent individuals and their families can access support, gain resources, and thrive in a setting that celebrates their unique strengths.”
This free event is open to everyone. We invite local residents, families, educators, and community leaders to join us in celebrating the opening of this crucial new resource for the Bendigo area.
