Quarry Hill Croquet Club

Croquet
Mallet sports

Ever had the satisfaction of hearing the "thwack" of a mallet on a solid ball? If not, try croquet. Quarry Hill is a friendly club, close to town on the corner of Mitchell and Olinda Streets. Visitors are always welcome. Play mornings are Tuesday (the busiest session), Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. Best to contact our secretary Ian Smith on 0401 71 1853 to arrange a suitable time. Tuition is available.

About Us

Quarry Hill is one of four croquet clubs in the city of Greater Bendigo. A fine club house was financed by members in 1960 and the two lawns are second to none.

The club has almost 50 members. Two forms of the game are played. Association is the traditional game, but these days Golf croquet has taken over in popularity.

The club is more than a place for exercise. Social activities are part of the fun of membership.
